A new report from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention warns Americans about the spread of a flu-like illness known as coronavirus.
The CDC says it’s critical that people stay home from the flu season and get tested if they have symptoms.
The agency recommends avoiding travel to the United States during the flu pandemic, which began Nov. 1.
The CDC also says people should be wary of being near people who might have recently tested positive for the virus, and that the risk of exposure to infected aerosols is high.
